PS LV Epoxy resin is a two-component, epoxy-based injection system. It is a low-viscosity resin system having a viscosity less than 350 cps at ambient temperatures. The injection resin shall comply with ASTM C881, Type 1 & 4, Grade 1, Class B &C. It passes rating for shrinkage test as per ASTM C881 and shall be impermeable. Concrete is a brittle material that cracks often as it tries to restrain possible movements due to volume change, tractive forces, freeze, and thaw cycles, etc. Cracks of such nature are repetitive and if brittle material is used to fill or instill the same, it may result in the cracking of the filling material as well. PS LV Epoxy resin stays semi-flexible once cured completely which helps in maintaining the integrity of the grout even in thin profile sections.
